Beware of Scammers!

The National Certification Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan warns users about possible fraudulent calls related to obtaining certificates of public keys for electronic digital signatures (hereinafter – the certificate).

Fraudsters may impersonate employees of the National Certification Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan and inform users that their certificate is about to expire, offering to renew it over the phone, asking them to provide an SMS code, or directing them to a link.

Important!

The National Certification Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan does not make phone calls to users to notify them about the expiration of their certificates.

Notifications about the expiration of a certificate are sent via SMS to the user’s phone number and by email 30 days, 10 days, and 24 hours before the certificate expires.

For your security:

  • do not disclose SMS codes, passwords, or electronic digital signature keys to anyone;
  • do not click on links received from unknown persons;
  • do not install third-party applications at the request of a caller;
  • if you have any doubts, verify the information on the official website of the National Certification Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan – pki.gov.kz – or contact the technical support service by calling 1414 or by email at support@goscorp.kz.

Stay vigilant! Do not provide third parties with any information that could allow access to your electronic digital signature keys.
