Partial unavailability of NCA RK services

For technical reasons, in the period from 09:20 to 09:50 hours on November 17, 2021, a partial unavailability of the services of the NC RK was registered.

Technical work

Due to scheduled maintenance work, in the period from 21:00 to 22:30 on November 13, 2021, it is possible to exceed the waiting time for the response of the services of the NCA RK.
We inform you that at the specified time, work will be carried out to replace the OCSP certificate of the NCA of the Republic of Kazakhstan, due to the expiration of their validity.

Accreditation of the NCA of the Republic of Kazakhstan

By the decision of the Commission on Accreditation of Certification Centers of the Information Security Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the NCA of the Republic of Kazakhstan was recognized as accredited in accordance with the Rules of accreditation of certification centers on the basis of the protocol dated 10/20/2021.

The date of issue of the certificate of accreditation of the NC RK is October 26, 2021. The validity period of the certificate of accreditation of the NCA RK is 3 years from the date of issue and is valid throughout the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Technical work

Due to the planned technical works, in the period from 02:00 to 09:00 on October 24, 2021, the waiting time for the response of the services of the NCА of the Republic of Kazakhstan may be exceeded.

Obtaining EDS keys in foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan launched a pilot project called “Electronic residency in the Republic of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter : e – Resident). The “E-resident” pilot project implies obtainment of digital signatures by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan at foreign missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (consulates, embassies).
Currently, diplomatic missions located in Washington, Moscow, New York, Prague, St. Petersburg, Seoul and Frankfurt am Main participate in the pilot project.
Prior to visiting an embassy, a service recipient should first submit a request for obtainment of registration certificates via the website of National Certification Authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To confirm a request, one needs to visit an embassy with a printed application received after submitting a request and an ID document.
After identification and confirmation of a request, a service recipient should complete the process of registration certificates obtainment by installing them through “Check a request status” service.
